Holmes was a First-Team All-Big Ten selection in 2005 and a Second-Team selection in 2004...A three-year starter and Ohio State's primary option in the passing game for the past two seasons, Holmes ranks among the top all-time Buckeye receivers with 141 career receptions for 2,295 yards and 25 touchdowns...Finished 2005 with 53 receptions for 977 yards (18.4 avg.) and 11 touchdowns...Separates well from defenders with his 4.3 speed...Runs precise routes...Very dangerous after the catch...Smallish frame...Because of home run threat Ted Ginn, Holmes rarely saw double teams...Doesn't always catch with his hands...Lacks ideal size to handle the rigors of the position in the NFL...Still, with top-end speed and after-the-catch ability, he is one of the most dangerous offensive weapons in this draft.
