Position: WR
School: Oregon State
Year: SR
Height: 6-1
Weight: 208
High School: Jesuit (Portland, Oregon)
Won the 2005 Biletnikoff Award as a nation's top receiver and was also named
an AP All-American First-Team member as a senior when he produced a Pac-10
Conference record 1,532 yards receiving for Oregon State...Selected to the
Walter Camp Foundation All-American team this past year, ending his career
with the Beavers as their all-time leading receiver with 220 catches for
3,924 yards...Ranks third in Pac-10 history in receiving yards...Shares the
OSU record for touchdown receptions with 20 and broke his own school mark
with 90 catches in 2005 after pulling down 86 balls in 2004...Became the
first player in league history to produce three 1,000-yard receiving
seasons...Hass has come away with a total of 19 100-yard games for Oregon
State and holds the school record for most receptions in a single contest
with 14 versus Arizona State...Had a total of three games with at least 200
yards through the air...Hass accomplished all these feats after walking on at
OSU before being awarded a scholarship with the program...Adjusts well to
badly thrown balls and makes the tough catches appear routine, but does not
have the speed or quickness that so many of the other receivers entering the
draft this year possess...Should be an excellent possession receiver in the
pros.
