Named AP First-Team All-American as a senior in 2005 as he set a new
Washington State rushing record with a stunning 1,900 yards through 11
games...Harrison, who ran for at least 100 yards in every game this past
season, established a new Pac-10 Conference standard with 14 consecutive
100-yard games dating back to his junior campaign in 2004...Named to the
All-Pac-10 Conference First Team as well, Harrison set or tied at least nine
single-season records for the Cougars, including rushing touchdowns (16),
overall TDs (17), 200-yard rushing games (four) and overall rushing attempts
(308)...Led the nation in rushing yards and was named a finalist for both the
Doak Walker Award and the Walter Camp Player of the Year Award, but was
overshadowed by USC's Reggie Bush in both races...Because of Bush and the
Trojans, Harrison was under the radar for much of the season for Washington
State, which would probably make him quite a steal for some team needing an
impact running back who will be given some time to learn the system...Was a
Pac-10 all-honorable mention as a junior when he started five of the 11 games
in which he appeared, finishing with a team-high 900 yards rushing...Began
college career at Pasadena City College even though he committed to Eastern
Michigan out of high school...While he didn't play against premier
competition all four years in college, there's little doubt that Harrison has
the tools to make it at the next level.
